"Miss Trendsetter U.S.A."

“I can’t believe you consider me to be a fashion trend setter, that’s so weird,” said Miss United States 2007 Ashley Kazian. She’s a small town girl, with big city taste and fashion sense. Ever since Ashley was a little girl growing up in Greenville, SC she has loved anything and everything that has to do with fashion. She decided to pursue her dreams of having a career in fashion by attending the Art Institute of Charlotte, and acquiring a Bachelors of Arts degree in Fashion Marketing and management. Ashley’s love of fashion has also translated to her other love…pageants. Ashley gives her dress designer Gregory Ellerbe a lot of input when it comes to her gowns she wears on stage. She is a firm believer in less being more, in a world where sequins and glitter rule. Ashley is also a very talented jewelry designer, making everything from earrings, to pendants herself. Ashley has a very sophisticated, yet modern style. She sites Juicy Couture, and Louis Vuitton as some of her favorite brands that she sports when flying to Atlanta to model at market, or when she’s promoting her favorite charity, The Cystinosis Research Network. Ashley is a great influence for young women, by not only leaving a mark on the fashion world, but the world itself.

" The Bold and the Beautiful"

Fall is quickly approaching ladies, but you can continue to turn the heat up with the hottest trends in shoes. The higher and brighter the better for fall 2008. This season bold raspberry, cobalt blue, and purple, in shiny patent leather, smooth satins, and rich leathers, will grace red carpets, and catwalks everywhere. Also animal prints are still around, but with the addition of wild and bold colors. Anything goes this season. Booties, platforms, round and pointy toes are all must haves. There are so many options for fall that every woman can find the right shoe for her, that will melt the snow off of the side walk in which she walks.
